1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Traecta (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Traecta is an AI-powered platform that helps career switchers build personalized learning roadmaps, track progress with streaks and proof-of-work artifacts, find study buddies, and build verified public portfolios. The Service is offered in two plans: a Free plan, available at no cost, and a Pro plan, available as a monthly or annual subscription. Paid subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant-of-Record, which handles billing, taxes, and compliance on our behalf. Details of each plan, current pricing, and the payment methods we accept are shown on our Pricing page.

Founding offer (first 100): the first 100 Pro subscribers get 50% off their chosen plan. The discount applies to every charge while the Pro subscription stays active. If you cancel, the discounted price ends; you can re-subscribe at the then-current price, and only while spots remain. The discount is limited to 100 sign-ups in total, tracked by our payment provider. We may change or end the offer for new subscribers at any time; anyone who already subscribes at the discounted price keeps it while their subscription stays active.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any activity violates these Terms.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with providing and improving the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant us this license.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: violate any applicable laws or regulations; infringe the intellectual property rights of others; upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content; harass, abuse, or threaten other users; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service without permission.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Traecta and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Traecta, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Traecta operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
